Description:
Every night of the week, Boom Chicago presents an English-language comedy show which is an exhilarating mix of written scenes and pure improvisation or "theatre-sports" games. The actors are professional comedians, recruited from the United States and brought out to Amsterdam. They are at near genius-level with their lightening quick wit and characterizations. The material is mostly topical and somewhat controversial but also includes an amusing look at the Amsterdam experience from a foreigner's perspective.
Boom Chicago is housed in the historic and superbly situated Leidseplein Theatre. A night at Boom can include a great meal in the theatre and/or drinks in the front bar and lounge.
